LIFE is a Cabaret my friend ! - Open Call STARRING YOU!

Inkfish, www.inkfishart.com, is launching a new company and will host a cabaret at Club Atlantis as part of June in Jackson Heights on Thursday, June 23rd, at 10 PM. We are looking for 10 - 15 performers, solos, and groups interested in presenting short pieces (no longer than 7 minutes). Pieces should be low tech. We will have a small light weight table covered in black, limited lighting capability, a full sound system, and a very short tech at the venue if needed. The stage is a raised platform, 8' deep x 12'wide, with a 6 1/2 foot ceiling height.

Performers will receive:

* 2 comp tickets per group
* a copy of their performance on DVD
* a cut of the door

Each performer and performing group must be willing to sign a release form allowing us and them free use of the video of their performance and image for promotion and marketing. All creative and artistic rights are the artists.

If you are interested in being considered please send any materials or a description of your piece to Alissa Mello at inkfishart@gmail.com. I look forward to playing and working with you in June.

This is event is being presented by Club Atlantis with the support of June in Jackson Heights and New York City Council Member Daniel Dromm.

Don't Forget next week is Restaurant Week! -checkout www.juneinjacksonheights.com for more events and news!
